Overview:

On this two-day training you can learn why people do things the way they do, and how you as a manager or leader can use these theories to change the way you interact with your reports. It is fascinating, useful and highly experiential. This programme is about Transactional Analysis in the workplace.

You’ll also learn:

  • To notice how people behave in certain ways and how to adapt your behaviour (Ego States)
  • To notice how people communicate and to describe your own way of communicating
  • To recognise the 5 main themes in the way we work (Working Styles)
  • To recognise the 4 Outlooks on Life (I’m OK, You’re OK) and how to work with these
  • How we fall into un-useful roles (Drama Triangle) and how to extract ourselves
  • How to motivate people (Stimulus / Recognition), and what works for us
  • What happens when people work in groups (Time Structuring)
  • A lot about yourself, leading to a Personal Development Plan
